Testing Information
Proctors, helpers and nursery workers should be here by 8:30 each morning. Students should be in their classrooms by 8:45. Parents of kindergarten through 4th grade children should accompany them to their assigned classroom to assist in completing information in their testing booklet. Parents, please be punctual.
A $1.00 snack fee per child should be paid to each child’s test proctor on Tuesday morning. This fee will cover snacks for both days. Lunches will not be offered.
Each student should come prepared with a couple of sharpened No.2 pencils with good erasers. Mechanical pencils are acceptable (.05 lead is best). Four function calculators may be used for grades 4 through 8 on the math portion of the test. Calculators may also be used for grades 9 through 12. No graphic, talking or scientific calculators will be allowed. Each child should bring their own calculator if they plan to use one.
It would be a good idea to bring a quiet activity (book, crossword puzzle, coloring book, etc.) to occupy them if they complete a section early. No hand held electronic video games will be allowed.
Parents should return in time for the assembly scheduled for 12:00. Any changes in Wednesday’s schedule will be announced at Tuesday’s assembly.
